GSK flags new Sensodyne Deep Repair formulation with TV and video ads

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is using TV and video advertising to promote the new formulation of its Sensodyne Repair & Protect Deep Repair toothpaste.

The advert, which launched this month, will run over a three-month period and aims to highlight Deep Repair’s “new and improved formulation” for sensitivity relief, GSK said.

“Now using aerosil silica, it promotes the formation of occluding material within the tubules of the tooth,” GSK explained, meaning shoppers with sensitive teeth can enjoy their favourite hot and cold treats this summer.

GSK will also advertise the product across digital and social channels, it said.

Sensodyne senior brand manager Colm Casey said the new marketing campaign will help “pharmacy teams… to drive further sales within the category by building on the brand’s ongoing success”.

Sensodyne Repair & Protect Deep Repair retails at £5.50.
